Question - How do I order?
Answer: You can order by adding items to the basket until you are ready to proceed to the checkout, then you can fill out the order form with your details.
Question - What are the methods of payment?
Answer: Papal, Cheque, or Postal Orders.
Question -When I submit my Credit or Debit Card Information, when ordering online, is it secure?

It is impossible for anyone at E.A.D. Lighting to see any of your Credit or Debit card information.
Paypal is a secure way of paying for your goods via the website and payment by this method secures immediate delivery. Cheques can takes 4-5 days to clear depending on banks not including Bank Holidays or weekends. Postal Orders - if crossed are treated as cheques - if uncrossed they are treated as cash.
Question - Do you sell my email address
Answer: NO E.A.D. Lighting does not share, sell or trade e-mail address information with
any other companies. Ead lightings policy is to protect this information and use it for communication purposes only. We are committed to ensuring your privacy.
Question - How soon will I receive my order?
Answer: This all depends on the method of payment used. Paypal is direct and therefore orders can be shipped same or next day. Bacs and Cheques need to clear first which usually takes 4-5 working days (not including Bank Hols or Weekends) depending on banks but orders are shipped directly funds are cleared. Postal Orders - crossed are treat same as cheques. Postal Orders uncrossed, same or next day dispatch.
Question -When do I place my order for next day delivery?
Answer: Orders need to be placed by 10.30 a.m. to be dispatched the same day as long as we have received cleared funds.
Question - What is your normal delivery times?
Answer: Depending on your method of payment and us receiving cleared funds, our normal delivery times are 2-3 days after placing your order unless you opt for next day delivery, which is a little dearer and orders need to be in by 10.30 a.m. for this.
Question - What if I have a problem ordering on line?
Answer: You can Telephone or Fax us and we will put the order through for you. (Tel/Fax number:- 01642 321279). If the line is busy, we can phone you back. Alternatively, you can send us a Cheque or Postal Order made payable to EAD Lighting with your guarantee number/address written on the back with a covering letter detailing your order.
Question - Is it safe to order on line with my credit cards?
Answer: We have a very high level of security on this website, ordering on line is safe and secure. We use Paypal for all our payments by credit cards. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
Question - What is a Bacs Payment?
Answer: Payment by Bacs is paying for your goods through your bank when you provide them with our bank details. Clearance by this method is usually 5 working days.
Question - Who can give me advice on the different lights?
Answer: We can advise you about the different products and functions of the products we sell.
Question - Do you have a brochure?
Answer: We don't have a brochure to send out, but you can download one from the menu links on the left hand side of the page.
Question - Do you sell replacement bulbs?
Answer: We don't sell replacement bulbs. Most of our products are fitted with either a fuse preservation circuit system or long life bulbs.
Question - Do you deliver to the Republic of Ireland?
Answer: Yes we can deliver to the Republic of Ireland, but the price is a little more expensive.
Question - Can you deliver to other countries in Europe?
Answer: Yes we can deliver to most countries in Europe, but the price is a little more expensive. You have a choice from the postal charge drop-down box in the checkout section.
Question - Do you deliver to the USA?
Answer: We have many enquiries from the USA and yes we can deliver but the price is more expensive, you have the choice from the postal charge drop-down box in the checkout section. PLEASE NOTE: The USA is on a totally different voltage from the UK. These products are designed to run on 230-240v so you will have to consult an electrician before your purchases.
Question - Will you deliver next day if my items are urgent?
Answer: We will deliver next working day (Mon - Frid) if your order is in by 10:30 a.m. but the price is a little more expensive. You have the choice from the postal charge drop-down box in the checkout.
Question - What happens if I receive something and it is faulty or broken?
Answer: Return the item in it's original packaging with your receipt and we will replace it. Please refer to our terms and conditions.
Question - Which lights can go outside?
Answer: Our lights are listed in categories for indoor and outdoor use.
Question - Can your lights be left outside all year round?
Answer: Yes our lights can be left outside all year as long as they are for outside use and the plug or the adaptor is inside an appropriate outdoor socket and out of the elements.
Question - Who do you use for delivery
Answer: We use either a Courier or Post Office. All items require a signature
Question - WEE Regulations Answer: The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment.
The regulations mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment. EAD Lighting is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers a take-back of their WEEE on a like for like basis when you buy a new Electrical product from us.
Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol and be disposed of separately from normal household waste.
For customers who bought new lights from EAD Lighting we would accept their old lights and prevent them being sent to landfill by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE items to us within 7 days of purchasing their new item. Customers wishing to return a WEEE item must pay for any transport costs incurred in returning the WEEE item to us.
